My guest Petra Sojka suffered unimaginable cruelty at 16 years old when she was kidnapped while waiting at a bus stop in the Czech Republic. She was taken into the vile underworld that is the sex trade industry.
Moving forward after being violated in such a horrific way is not an easy thing to do. For all victims of rape and abuse, recovery and healing is often a life long process. I am so very proud of Petra and where she is at today; helping other women and girls. She shares her story and works with airlines so that the staff can be aware of the warning signs when someone is being kidnapped or trafficked.
There are more people in slavery today than any other time in history. Estimates are that as many 27 million people are enslaved. This is a topic that need our attention and we need to be having conversations around.
