A milestone goal I achieved recently was doing some red carpet celebrity interviews here in L.A. I had the pleasure of interviewing Marcia Cross, Stedman Graham, Gloria Allred, Dr. John Gray (Men are from Mars Women are from Venus Author) and many more. I can’t wait to share them with you. Whenever I have a milestone moment there is new learnings and growth.
The biggest new awareness for me was ‘BE YOU’. In previous interviews I had been a little serious. Worried I needed to come across as respectful of the guests’ stories, particularly as many had been through abuse and trauma. I realized that on the red carpet where everything is improvised and in the moment you can be funny, relaxed and still be serious and deep. You can be laughing one moment and crying the next. So, I will be being all of me more often on camera now.
I didn’t think it could be possible to be so exhausted from excitement but at the end of that 15 hour day and about 30 interviews, I was pooped and yet still had a massive grin on my face.
