Moving forward after trauma and tragic circumstances can be one of the most challenging times we go through as a human being. I truly believe it is possible to move forward and heal.
Healing takes time, self compassion, reflection, some core skills and coping strategies. Many of the people I have spoken with are strong advocates of counseling and support groups.
Moving forward is not an easy path but one that can ultimately lead us to our healing. What has been your experience with healing and moving on? What has helped and what has hindered your growth?
