Tracy Broughton, former Ms. Amercia, mother, entrepreneur, speaker and advocate for people with disabilities has moved mountains with her faith. Her positive nature and strength comes from faith she found within, which is a wisdom she generously instills in her children and shares with anyone she can. Watch the video to get a better idea of what and who this beauty is because I don’t know that I cannot do her enough justice with my words.
Here’s a quick list of some of the events that happened in her life:
-Kidnapped at age 3
-Her mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, giving her months to live while Tracy was in elementary school
-Dealt with domestic abuse in her home and helped take care her siblings and mother
-Excelled in school and sports
-Her mother passed shortly after Tracy graduated high schoool
-Successful modeling career
-Survived a car accident that left her paralyzed and was told that she would never walk again
-Continued to model and make public appearances in her wheel chair
-Became a single mother of twin boys and found herself homeless when the father would not assist
-Crowned Ms. Black California USA in 2003
-Started a florist shop in Santa Monica, CA and then a legal insurance business, which she still runs today
-Corporate trainer, a sought-after public speaker, top recruiter and top producer
-Crowned Ms. America in 2011
-After her accident over 14 years ago, 11 of those years in a wheelchair…Tracy is now walking, with the help of a crutch!
